Alex’s postgraduate thesis, Responding to climate change – an exploration of the general public’s experiences, interactions and perceptions in four Victorian communities, is based on in-depth, qualitative research on the attitudes and perspectives of members of the general public about climate change.

Alex’s papers include ‘Getting behind the Toxic Tax, the Clean Energy Future and the opinion surveys – lay people’s ideas about climate change’, an outline some of the findings of research interviews with a range of people from four different areas in Victoria, three rural and one urban. She was also a key researcher and author on Victoria’s first study into international student community safety, The Community Safety of International Students in Melb A Scoping Study.
